A black bird soars for the moon. Its tail feathers are knotted and ever reaching back to the world behind him. As in journeying, out of body works, the soul flies but is ever tied to earth - to the body. It's about reaching, leaving, searching, and coming home again.

Art was drawn with a calligraphy dip style quill and an inkwell.
430 pages of unlined parchment sewn to three sturdy cords.5.75x8.75in / 14.5x22 cm. The locking strings of the book were handcrafted with a medieval tool called a Lucet. Two braided bookmarks of natural shade hemp.
