Description

Shuji ran into the room where Tio used to be unconscious. He had awoken from his coma!
“Tio!” Shuji shouted as he threw himself into his friend’s arms. “I’m so glad you’re okay!”
Tio gave a light chuckle. “Shuji, you evolved! And you didn’t think that wretch would keep me down, did you?”
“U-uh, you may want to watch your mouth…” Shuji said, motioning to Radiata as he entered the room. Tio’s insult stung him, but Radiata forgave him rather easily.
“You?! What are you doing here?!” Tio exclaimed, about ready to jump out of his bed.
“No, Tio, it’s okay! He’s changed! Right, Radiata?” he said, walking over to him and taking hold of his hand. Radiata responded with an embarrassed giggle.
“Yeah,” he said in response. “I’m sorry, Tio, but a lot has changed while you were out,” he said, still holding Shuji’s hand.
It took Tio a minute to finally realize what they were talking about. “You two are dating?!” Tio exclaimed yet again.
“Yeah! What happened was that I tried to get revenge for you by hunting him down, and I tried attacking him but my mother got in the way and took the hit! But then… he saved her,” Shuji said dreamily as he was looking at Radiata.
Tio was speechless. Of all the couples to happen in the ranch, this one was the least expected… “I… okay…” was all he could say.
“I guess we better let you rest, but it was really good to see that you’re okay,” Shuji said, giving Tio another hug. They both waved him goodbye and Tio wore a smile as they left. But that smile quickly faded as his thoughts took over his brain.
Okay, he thought. So what if Shuji and Radiata are dating? It’s no big deal… It’s not like Radiata tried to kill me or anything, and it’s not like I love Shuji or anything…
His breathing quickened as anxiety took over his body. A few tears formed in his eyes. He rarely cried, but this time it was over something even more heartbreaking than before…
“Tio! I heard you were…” Cell said, slithering into the room. Cell happened to be one of Tio’s other friends, and when he heard that he was conscious again he had to go see him. But this wasn’t what he expected… Why was he crying? “Tio? What’s wrong? Are you okay?” Cell said, running to his bedside and giving him a hug. “I-I don’t know what happened, but whatever it is, I’m h-here for you…” he said carefully.
