Remember the journal entry where I asked in a poll of sorts which character(s) you'd like to see for some 'thank-you' art? Well, here's the result
Most of the comments asked for characters that aren't drawn often, two asked for Bill and Charlie Weasley - well, there you go
They're wearing casual every-day clothing because I was too lazy to draw them in detailed working clothes 8D; And I had totally forgotten that Bill has this Rockstar-style thing going on and only remembered it after I had already finished the lineart *sweatdrop* Ah well, what's done is done...

The creases in their clothes are hella rad. How do you achieve that precision in the shading, too? The technique I use for skin doesn't work at all for clothes. Any tips? Love the subtle depth in Bill's jacket, and his zipper is hella well done ;D
You did a fabulous job capturing the Weasley "look" with both of them. They both have an air of mischief hehe. Love their smirks >D
Bill's hair is smexy, and I really like your coloring style for both.
Gah, the line art is just gorgeous. Their hands are done with such... pristine~! The only thing a little wonky is Charlie's collar but otherwise... *o* This probably sounds bizarre, but I love Charlie's ear XP;; Drawing ears escapes me, and it's not often people do so that accurately
May I just say I want your talent? *lol* Especially with faces. You have such a mastery with the body and shape of them that is just awe-evoking. From the sketch and placement of every feature to the shading and coloring. I am always entranced with the way you seemingly effortlessly do them.
I always have and most likely always will admire your skills. Both coloring and sketching. You're an inspiration, though I haven't told you near enough. Thank you so much, love, for sharing your art and continuing to inspire *hugs tight* <3<3

It makes me really happy to hear you like those two - and my art in general ;__;~ *shines with happiness*
Any tips? Uff, I don't know... I simply start shading with a slightly darker shade from the base color and then always add a darker shade, until I'm sort of satisfied with it. I usually use that way on both, skin and clothing.. Appart from that I can only tell you, that I use a greyish-purple tone for the darkest part on the skin, no idea if that's of any help to you
