Another concept art environment for class. Feedback is very welcome, it hasn't been graded yet.I think I'm improving. It's long and tedious, but the feeling I'm getting somewhere is very rewarding

wow, there is an air of menace here. the figure in the foreground is hard to spot at first, which is one of the reasons it works so well--seeing that figure feels like a reward for examining the drawing closely. the water doesn't seem quite as good--i think there are a few too many highlights--but the overall work is excellent! quietly scary!

Thank you, I'm really pleased you like it. I wanted it to look agressive, the orks are not nice folk. I'm happy you found a reward there. I wanted the figure to be integrated, so it shouldn't jump out.
And you're right about the water. I should have worked harder on it. I'll do better next time.

It's the hand / fingers part, it looks like there's more fingers, in fact I'd considered it being a bit of tree for a moment. You never know with these spikybacks.
