History & Personality:
Ferrari comes from a broken family. Already rarely around during her early childhood, her and Bugatti’s father left shortly after Bugatti was born. Already an emotionally and mentally fragile person, their mother Lancia was ultimately completely broken by whom she perceived to be the love of her life leaving her. She descended into a sort of haze, amplified by her increasing addiction on prescription drugs, and started seeking solace away from home and away from the daughters that reminded her of their father. And so Ferrari was forced to take care of her sister mostly by herself, a responsibility much too great for a child her age. Still, despite their mother’s inability to handle her life and responsibilities, there was never a doubt that she loved her daughters. She just wasn’t able to take care of herself, much less others. On the occasions Lancia was home, Ferrari would do as much for her as she could, helping her through her worst ditches of depression and making sure she didn’t overdose on medication.
Due to the responsibility laid on her shoulders, Ferrari matured fast and became disillusioned with the world at a tender age. She was determined to provide a better childhood than the one she herself had had for her little sister, and succeeded, as Bugatti grew up in a much more stable environment and generally had a happier childhood, despite their often absent mother. Ferrari and Bugatti grew to be incredibly close.
When Bugatti turned 18 and was thus officially an adult and no longer dependent on Ferrari, they both left their childhood home to make their own lives. Perhaps as a reaction to being free of responsibilities and worries for the first time in her life, Ferrari went on to lead a wild and carefree life as a young adult, suddenly breaking free of her former serious and reserved shell and blossoming into a vibrant and confident young woman. Lancia also seemed to be doing better and better the past few months, and she was finally reconnecting with her daughters. (2149)
Lancia, having become involved with a new underground movement, invited Ferrari along to a gathering. Happy to try and mend the broken bridges with her mom, Ferrari mingled with her mother’s new friends and attended the gatherings of this Resurgence, as it was starting to be called. Ferrari couldn’t say she cared much for what the Resurgence stood for, but she found this secret society of sorts exciting, and quickly became fascinated with the charismatic leader of the Resurgence.
One fateful day however, Ferrari and Lancia got caught in an altercation between the Resurgence and the ASP. ASP agents alighted on the scene of one their gatherings with the intention of dispersing it, but with some Zeros with offensive powers and much distaste for meddlers being on the scene, things quickly turned violent. Only trying to get out and to safety, Lancia got caught in the crossfire and was shot in the head at point-blank range with a energy pulse gun by an ASP agent, which caused irreparable brain damage and left Lancia effectively braindead. As the chaos dispersed, Ferrari was left alone to get her mother to a hospital, where she still remains, completely vegetablized. (2150)
This drove Ferrari even further into the arms of the Resurgence. Now convinced of Sarastro’s teachings being true, she threw herself into it with her all. Ferrari quickly rose to prominence within the ranks of the Resurgence and gained the favor of Sarastro. Although not officially part of the Council, Ferrari is still one of Sarastro’s closest confidantes and might as well be considered his right hand woman.
When the need for a counterforce to deter the ASP arose, Ferrari took initiative to find and assemble the members of the Resurgence that could be of use, perhaps fueled by her personal vendetta. Ferrari has remained in charge of the militants, unofficially dubbed the Renaissance Crew by Ferrari herself, ever since. For what is essentially a gang of violent psychopaths, the Renaissance Crew is surprisingly friendly and tightly-knit, almost like a family of sorts, with Ferrari at the head of it as a benevolent matriarch. An infallibly confident, assertive and naturally dominant woman, Ferrari has no trouble with handling and keeping in line most of the Crew, though that doesn’t pose much of a difficulty, as she is almost universally held in high regard by her henchmen. The few dissenters are kept in check by the knowledge that Ferrari is, after all, the one who provides them the freedom to do as they like, and no less by their fear of Ferrari’s lapdog Zeros.
Ferrari’s weapons of choice are machine guns/assault rifles of varying types (she has a liking for vintage models though), but she is also good at just flat up beating people up. Incredibly agile and capable of some impressive physical feats thanks to her extensive experience in gymnastics and later training, she is nothing to scoff at in physical combat. Her natural knack for command and strategy make her a very effective team leader and she can easily go head-to-head with, and more often than not overwhelm even the most experienced ASP agents.
Having never had the time (or indeed the desire) for committed long-term relationships, Ferrari instead has a history of more one-night stands and short flings than one can count.
While “on the job”, Ferrari is usually seen in mostly black clothing, often made of leather and with slight S&M overtones. Off the job, she can be seen in more colorful and whimsical dress, often opting for dresses and skirts instead of the pants, shorts or leotards she is usually seen in. She almost always wears heels, even when it’s not the most practical choice for the occasion. Ferrari also has a noted tendency to show a lot of skin, whatever style she’s dressed in. She is totally the kind to run into a battle without any pants on.
Being rather tall and solidly built, and sporting a mane of bright red hair, Ferrari cuts a pretty striking figure, amplified by the unflinching confidence and power exuding from just the way she carries herself. She is very aware of her own sex appeal and is by no means afraid to flaunt her assets. Even though she’s gay, using her impressive looks to tease and lead on men and make them think they have a chance is one of her favorite hobbies.

what are actual reference sheets??? never heard of 'em. sorry for the essay (and how stupid it all is lmao), surprisingly she has one of the most complicated/well thought-out backstories of all my characters for some reason. usually i'm just like "lol here's this character and they're p cool and yea". She probably comes off a bit mary-sueish, but to be honest she isn't intended to be a very realistic character, I first created her with a very specific purpose in mind, and that purpose is to be that really fun, over the top villain.
anyway, the art is actually about half a year old, so it sucks a bit, but I'm not about to redraw it now cause she needed a ref up like yesterday.
I've also realized I made her 2 skinny when I drew this, she's supposed ta have more junk in ha trunk than that, so go look at this for a better representation of her bodytype... and her face too, lbh:

Although it had always been fairly secretive and low-key about its purposes and achievements, after Project 00X181 went belly-up, it quickly became even more covert and underground. Tasked with taking care of the aftermath of Project 00X181, it developed a militant fraction, which soon took the main stage.
ASP is a privately owned and funded organization. It has no (official) ties to the government. The owner and funder of the organization is unknown and unseen, referred to only as „the Director" by the members.
