thank you all - it's really fun working with craft wire, as opposed to silver - no worries about wire being thrown away 
marchia, i'm croatian and i'm not sure if i understand correctly - if you ask about the black wire, i bought it in croatia - it's easy to find the thin wire, and not as much to find the thick one (i actually use the flowerists' thick black wire, but not in these pieces).
i ordered thick red wire from the us, via internet....
i would so much like to be able to buy everything here...

that's a good suggestion - i've never made brooches and i just love loli style, although i can't imagine a loli dress on myself (lol)
