Trying my hand at photography. Now I don't have a fancy camera by any means, just a dinky digital cam. I don't know much about photography, but I know something about composition, and I love taking pictures. This is the North Fork of the Cascade River, snapped August 2011 out in the North Cascades of Washington State. Tweaked hue/saturation a bit to bring out the intensity of the green that my camera fails to capture.Related content

Aaah this is how I imagined my Lamia forest to look! It's so beautiful, and for not knowing much about photography, you got an awesome shot! I'm sort of the same as you, I like photography but only have a "filthy casuals" camera - and knowing about composition does help!
