Description
For every piece of FF6 fanart, there's another 20 of FF7 fanart....and that's just downright sad. We need to do something about this injustice.No background, sorry. Couldn't think of anything to put there and I felt the pic needed to be finished.
Sakura microns, prismacolor pencils. Don't ask me how long this took, I'm not even sure. Looooong.

I havent played 6, but I love Terra from DISSIDIA, but even so I think they ruined her a little T_T she was a bit weak mentally, even she was one of the hardest + strongest characters in the game.

Gah, keep forgetting to comment on this. It's very pretty and I like it, especially the hair and the outfits.
There should be more FF6 art... or a new FF game that uses pixel art as a stylistic choice. They could try another Mystic Quest if they wanna keep it out of the other stuff they do.

Brillant work, I like the colours and shades of their skin. Hair looks also very natural. As a great fan of FF VI I can say it's a great picture.

Your coloring always impresses! I'm amazed by how clean and rich the pencils look, and that is now a favorite Celes of mine. Her hair in particular is gorgeous.

More pleased comments on the skin? I think the skin looks TERRIBLE thanks to the scan. There were more brown and beige tones in it, and it wasn't so damn orangy.

Really pretty hair on both of 'em. Terra's eyes are glittery and awesome. There are anatomy issues with Terra and facial issues with both of 'em, but I see improvement. Nice work!

I like how the hair came out, although it's a shame I can't get really tiny points on my pencils to do more strand shading.
As for the anatomy, I have a problem with profiles. I always put the eyes too far forward (and too high up), and that's a problem I really need to fix. I tried distorting facial proportions a bit because this ain't realism or anything here, but I think it made Terra look a bit like those big-eyed waif paintings everybody had back in the 60s.

Fucking astounding, as usual. I especially like Terra's eyes, they're really well done. The skin and Celes' armour are equally awesome too. In terms of a background I'd suggest just a blue sky with clouds. You could say they're on the airship, or at the top of a castle (throw in some flags if you pick the latter).

I was going to do hazy cirrus clouds, but in the end I didn't want to fudge with the picture anymore...and thus we have negative space!
Remember kids: negative space in your images is a bad thing!

I love Final Fantasy 6. They lost something when they stopped using sprites, I think. Besides, the little animations (such as the shocked faces or the scene where Locke pitches Terra onto the bed) are hilarious.
I've tried watching various Let's Play type things of Final Fantasy in youtube, but they tend to bore me except six. I can't believe they stuck Setzer in Kingdom Hearts.
Ramble aside, this is a great picture. I love Terra's little earrings.

I was okay with him being voiced by Crispin Freeman. I was not okay about smacking him with a boffer to make balls pop out of him...I mean how completely stupid. It was an insult to the character.

Actually I think the scan completely ruined their skintones, so I guess it's good that somebody thinks it doesn't look half bad. XD
