Yep but I wasn't the 1st to start drawing fanart of this show. I've seen some others around Dev so go find them. I love the background I made for this pic. I had no trouble drawing them cuase they are very simple designs, I drew them while watching the show which is a 1st. That can mean 1 of 2 things; 1) I'm getting better or 2) these cherecters are way too simple. Murrays charecters look alot better in his own style than they do in the cartoon. His website, which I need to find, has pictures of Lazlo in his style. All art is (C) of me except the logo which I cut and paisted form this picture [link] which is (C) of Joe Murray.

I don't know what I really feel about this cartoon. It's a little too much like other cartoonnetwork shows (Kids Next Door meets Ed Edd and Eddy) but it's path is quite impulsive. The one thing I like the best about cartoons is when the jokes and story lines arn't predictable. Plot wise it's a so-so show, I think I need to see where it goes from here. I HATE the title song. I don't know what other people think but I've never felt this annoyed with a title song since the SAT AM Sonic cartoon. I love the voice acting though. Every charecter fits and the voices are ones I've never heard before (though Lazlo is a little familiar but I can't place it now). Tom Kenny acually is using his tenor voice for a consistant charecter ( the narrator from PPG being the only other exception). It's hard to believe Slikman is his voice. I almost thought he was running out of things to do. Clam is a Rino...that's what Cartoonnetwork.com says. I would rather go with an ardvark or something of that nature if you wanted to draw something like that but I like how his personality fits his species quite well. Raj is a little racist but politcally correct. I'm torn it's hard to pick and choose what good and bad. What I love the most about Raj is that he has the most differnt voice for a lead charecter EVER, and you're putting love into something that is concidered evil in our american society (though I think he's an Idian Elephant I'm sure people will confuse the accent with something Palestinian) . He's god the cutest design I think too. He's a different type of lead charecter and I'm loving it......doens't anybody notice that he is a Pink Elephant???

In short I'm glad Joe Merry is doing something. I'm not sure if he did anythign in between Rocko and Lazlo but glad to have ya back man.
