Ok this needs some explaining.Spongebob: Everytime I look at him in teh show I see how easily he can be one of those B&W 1930's cartoons. SO I drew him like one.
Sandy: Done in classic Warner Bro.s style, it's very easy to do that.
Mr. Krabs: He's supposed to looks like some sor tof crazy Jappaness marketing gimic (Mr. Sparkle)
Squidward: in an effort to try to get all the char.s in a differnt style was to make squid a Smerf...they're both blue.

We can see this when Sponge is doing his wiggly dancing (wavy hands etc...) This is exactly as something you'd see in an old cartoon.
