Turns out Black Doom, that scary alien guy, is Shadow's flesh and blood, almost his father and should be, Doom's blood flows inside Shadow, and Shadow's always so very very emo 'cuz Maria died so very long ago, and it still haunts him. That's with the whole, "MARIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!" thing, and why he's so obbsessed with the whole "M-A-R-I-A" and "MARIA!" and "Maria..." and, oh, the classic, "Maria, I promise you... REVENGE!"
It starts to be funny after a little while! <3
