I was just telling the truth! Not only you have the same body...not only you have the same face (at least your profile here looks the same!)...not only this wig suits you perfectly...(it looks like your hair! I mean it suits you that it looks like your hair!)

But also the cosplay looks really realistic! I have seen cosplays that look kinda fake...you know...the accesorries or even the clothes look exessively fake (and that's not the cosplayers fault of course) however here it is like wearing actual kimono attire of Edo period! Even the swords look realistic and not fake! Even the scar detail is really well done!

the angle was for my favor I guess, my face can be pretty dorky at times heh. but yes, I have some resemblance to the char, it was cool to hear the same comment from a few other people at the con also.

mm IKR about the fakeness, like how hard can it be for example to make an accurate sleeve.. uh. the things I've seen at ebay. people shouldn't settle for that.

Yup I hate it when cosplays look extremely fake. I never said it is the cosplayer's fault but then again I don't like seeing something that looks so fake!

yeah, but fixing just a few details would make all the difference in those costumes, just that small effort... maybe people just don't care and concentrate on just having fun like they actually shoud and we're taking this too seriously. : D dunno, I'm a perfectionist like that heh.

Yup, all except the sheaths and zori is my own making.

I want to make my own cosplay, but I've never done it before. All I've ever made are tails. (so far I've made three)

And the cosplay I've set my sights on is.... well, to put it lightly, daunting.

Basically, all you need is BURNING DETERMINATION. : ) I hadn't sewn one piece of clothing that'd actually be wearable before I started a few years back. And I just love the challenge
