ok for real tho, despite this just being a costume swap, i had a LOT of fun doing this picture (not the small details tho omg, i cant even with those)

Twist of fate backstory: Unlike the movies where he's someone to prove himself since nobody thinks he's good enough and thus hunts down toothless, he's already great in this universe. Being the kid of the chief, he's looked at as someone who's already worthy, and so, makes his ego grow HUGE.
So he decides to try his luck with trying to catch the elusive night fury.
It works out, and he manages to shoot it down. He then immediately goes after it after they manage to drive out the other dragons.
At first, he wanted to kill it to show others that he could do the impossible, but he decided not to. He decided to train it to show the entire village that he even managed to tame the elusive night fury. It takes a long time (with lots of brute force and discipline) but he finally managed to tame it. After taming him, he decided to now look for the island the dragons resided on and drive all of those out. Without knowing it, there was a giant alpha in there, and he decides to take it head on. It takes a while, but he soon manages to take down the alpha (with the cost of part of his leg, however)
With that, he is now seen as the village hero. He then decided to use the training area to help other train dragons for them to use, and so he can create an army of dragons. If one doesn't obey? He kills it.

yeaa its a bit unoriginal, but i had a ton of fun doing it! and i really hope you like my entry for the twist of fates competition!
