With the extensive hull and systems refit, the Arleigh Burke recieved a brand new bridge module that was larger than the original, and took its design cues from the Constitution-class refit. The same layout was extended to every refit (and new) Arleigh Burke-class vessel..

To make the bridge unique to the Arliegh Burke and her sister ships, changes were made in the layout. The helm and navigation joint console was moved forwards away from the Captain's chair, an operations management console was placed behind the Captain, and the back wall became a large interactive Master Systems Display.

The original colour scheme for the 2270-2273 refit was a metallic grey with a light grey floor and a dark red railing, but in 2276 the colour scheme was changed to a darker grey with a warm brown floor. This scheme would stay in place until 2286 when the bridge module underwent its third upgrade.
