You must be a subscriber to Deviant art in order to paste them in your journal.
If you are, simply go to the image page, and then on the bottom right of the artist's comment box, there's a thing that says "Thumb" with a code. Copy the code and paste it into your journal, and it shows up as the image.

You can keep it as a favorite if you'd like, you don't have to remove the favorite just cause you can't use it.. unless you really want to.
It is disappointing that only subscribers can post images, such as stamps, in their journal.

Favoriting and subscribing are not the same thing. When you favorite something, you are just saying you like it. You don't have to be a subscriber to favorite a stamp, and you definitely don't have to subscribe.
You can always enter art contests on deviant art that offer subscriptions as prizes if you don't want to buy your own.
As long as you credit me here on deviant art, you can use the stamp. Do not use my stamp for anything you plan on selling. Please show me what you make with me stamp when you're done.
If you want a drawing, we can either do an art trade, or I could give you a price. It depends on how big you want the pixel genie bottles to be, how much detail you want, etc.

alright so for now im going to put this on hold until the time comes since now im trying to learn some animation techniques.. making genie smoke is very hard!

Hmm, I can imagine. I've never tried animating smoke before. Take a video of some smoke, open it in an animation program, and just re-draw the smoke on a layer over each slide.
