I am absolutely overjoyed by the responses my previous characters have gotten. I did fix some of my mistakes or ret-cons from previous characters and I'll make more fixes when I get the time. For now, let's talk about a very interesting young cat.
As said before, Shimmerkit is the only survivor of her mother and two sisters (Dawnkit and Olivekit). Crowflight died in the tunnel collapse that had trapped Hollyleaf and left her for dead. Jayfeather was able to get the kits out so Crowflight could name them before her death, but two of them died right after. Shimmerkit was co-nursed by Greenleaf and Whitewing, while the other queens provided her entertainment. Ivykit, Willowkit, and Shimmerkit were inseparable. Shimmerkit had special bonds with Jayfeather and Lionblaze, and often snuck into either den to sleep in their nests with them. Whitewing and Greenleaf's kits as well as little Shimmerkit were all apprenticed together. One attribute of Shimmerpaw was that she looked exactly like Crowfeather, but no one ever called it out specifically. Shimmerpaw was mentored by Blazeheart, who taught her as gently as Meadowbreeze taught him. Shimmerpaw was also known to be really fast, being able to run faster than most WindClan cats and was as agile around ThunderClan's terrain. She was given a running assessment on WindClan's territory, courtesy of Windheart, Mintstripe, and Onestar. She did really well at it and all three warriors were amazed by her speed and agility. She became praised among both Clans and was almost enough to re-ignite the alliance between the two Clans, or start a rivalry over WindClab wanting to take her as one of their own warriors. It wasn't until Shimmerpaw's first Gathering that she had met Crowfeather, who again, was said Shimmerpaw was an exact copy of. Firestar had kept Shimmerpaw's survival under wraps from the other Clans and the three WindClan warriors who had observed her running assessment hadn't even said anything about her. When the two cats locked eyes each had different reactions. Shimmerpaw thought she had seen an image of her older self who was about to say turn around and hide in a bush, while Crowfeather was shocked to see a miniature version of himself and had thought the Crowflight's daughters were dead. Crowfeather was the one to initiate a conversation between the two and Shimmerpaw soon realized exactly who he is. Firestar announced her survival and apprenticeship and of course, she received judgemental looks and low growls from other cats. Whether it was because she had WindClan blood or was related to Darkstripe, she didn't know and she didn't care. She'd begin to care later on anyways, Sunpelt finally showed interest in his daughter finally, but not in the way she thought. He lulled her to training in the Dark Forest (with no idea her mother was there) and she liked getting to know her kin and train beside Ivypaw and Stonepaw. Crowflight herself had kept hidden and watched her daughter and mate in quiet shadows. Eventually Shimmerpaw caught a glimpse of her mother and stood there glazed in shock. She of course had questions, but those were soon answered by Darkstripe, she committed crimes. She killed a cat and tried to harm another. Shimmerpaw never came to understand why until much later. Jayfeather and Lionblaze weren't going to tell her, Squirrelflight, Leafpool, and Pinewood wouldn't either. She eventually sucked up to Jayfeather about the Dark Forest and begged him to tell her what was going on and wanted to know exactly what Crowflight had done to deserve being sperated from her kits. Jayfeather told her everything and Shimmerpaw remained silent. She spent that night with Jayfeather in his nest and wept over learning the truth (I know cats can't cry but imagine she was because the truth about her mother hurt that much). Shimmerpaw only kept training because Breezepelt took an interest in the agile apprentice. Breezepelt wasn't fond of his ThunderClan kin that's for sure, but her skill and agility impressed him. Shimmerpaw appreciated that he cared about her and would hold a lifelong bond with Breezepelt and Amberlight because of how well they treated her. Shimmercloud earned her warrior name alongside Dovewing, Ivypool, Stoneclaw, Willowstripe, Boulderfoot, and Wolfheart. She consistently kept the bond with the other cats and fell in love with Stoneclaw. Shimmercloud finally got to meet Hollyleaf, and initially Hollyleaf thought she was Crowfeather and nearly attacked her. Lionblaze held her down and told her that was Crowflight's daughter. Hollyleaf almost immediately softened and formed a bond with the young warrior. Shimmercloud fought beside Crowflight, Mintstripe, Crowfeather, Ashfoot, Tallstar, and Deadfoot in the Dark Forest battle, and was the cat to take Badgerclaw's life, avenging Wolfheart, her lifelong friend. Shimmercloud lived peacefully after the fight, and she currently watches Goosepaw and Duskpaw's training (hers and Stoneclaw's kits). Shimmercloud is close with her ThunderClan and WindClan kin, and has mentored Mouseclaw and Nightshade in their apprentice days.
