Description watercolor, 22x30

A watercolor of Mammoth Hot Springs. Had a lot of fun with this one . It was really challenging--I've never really done a landscape before, but I thinks it's something I want to do more of.

Also, I've started taking progress photos of my art as I'm working . I have them posted over here on my website--> [link]

This is fantastic! Your style of watercolor landscape is very similar to John Howe and Alan Lee. You should check them out if/when you get a chance. Very beautiful piece of art!

Thank you! John Howe is actually one of my favorite artists--I own his fantasy workshop book, and I'm always going through it for ideas. I haven't heard of Alan Lee, though. I'll have to check him out!

Alan Lee worked with John Howe as the lead artists for The Lord of the Rings. They have a very similar watercolor style. Man! You're amazing!
