Description Second Lieutenant (podporucznik) of 24th Uhlans Regiment

Uhlans (in Polish: "Ułan"; "Ulan" in German) were Polish light cavalry armed with lances, sabres and pistols.

24th Uhlans Regiment was a cavalry formation of the Second Polish Republic Army and the Armoured Cavalry of the Polish Armed Forces in the West during the World War II. The Regiment had finished the WW II as a part of 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade of 1st Polish Armoured Division.
