Link and Bluebird were winding down for the night. Link was getting his bedroll set up when Bluebird dragged a blanket over and plopped down behind him. Patiently waiting for him to finish. Link paused for a moment. Then turned around. "What?" Bluebird asked, looking over her shoulder to see if he'd seen something behind her. The second she looked away, Link playfully scooped her off the ground. She gave a little surprised squeak as he did so. Then he took her blanket and wrapped her up in it like a tiny burrito. She sat there for a few moments. Processing. Then she broke into a grin and started laughing. "Liiiiiiink!" She outright cackled when he put a hand over her, earning plenty more giggles and a brief game of gentle whack-a-mole (which consisted of him simply poking her head wherever she tried to peek out of the blanket). Eventually, both grew drowsy. Link gently set her down, and snuggled into his own blankets.
Bluebird decided that he made a better blanket. She climbed over his arm, once he was truly asleep, and wrapped herself up in some of his hair. She snuggled into the soft warmth, giving a contented little sigh as Link's arm snaked up to lightly press her against his cheek.
