Okay, about the art first:
This was one ambitious inspiration. I rarely cry while drawing, but with this I just couldn't help it.
In Hyrule Historia, it says that the Hero of Time (a.k.a the hero's shade) has ever since returning to the child era lamented the fact that he was not remembered as a hero. It literally means, that the hero of my entire childhood who indeed saved Hyrule, Termina, and played the song of healing to those poor souls in need, died unknown and shamefully. Thinking about it tears me up every single time, and I wanted to share this heartbreaking feeling.
I had this very extraordinary feeling while listening to the fresh Eurovision winner and drawing the ghost Hero of Time, and yes, I liked the song okay before but the first minute hit me so much more through this, just look at the lyrics:
Don’t tell the gods I left a mess
I can’t undo what has been done
Let’s run for cover
What if I’m the only hero left?
You better fire off your gun
Once and forever
He said go dry your eyes
And live your life like there is no tomorrow, son
And tell the others
To go sing it like a hummingbird
The greatest anthem ever heard
We are the heroes of our time
But we’re dancing with the demons in our minds
I can so imagine this with the relationship between Hero of Time Link and the Hero of Twilight Link. Even the fact that Time-Link addresses Twilight-Link as son, gosh. I know I'm silly, but things like this, they mean a lot to my highly sensitive side. Can't help it, haha.

The execution wasn't quite as pleasing as I would've wanted it to be, but I'm happy enough. As you can see this comes a few days late, even though I've been working with this for three weeks now. I've been dang busy with exams, and when they ended, we've had like four days of awesome celebrating like water war, The Last Supper -themed brunch, baseball, music festival and today finally the great speech day. Not much time to spend with drawing sadly, but it has been one of the favorite weeks of my entire life. Tomorrow I'm going to beach, and then I have three days to use only for art projects and you all, so I hope you can be patient!
