Deltarune: Eden of the Soul is a really fun fic to write, and I have so much planned for it. As of now, though, I decided to get this out there, since I'm so proud of it and excited to share it. It mainly started as a sketch to pinpoint my designs for these characters. From there, I changed around some positions (primarily Lancer, as I wanted him to be more involved than he was in initial designs). Over time, I kept coming back to it, making multiple design changes and refining everything, until I got what we have now.
I think the design I'm most proud of is Susie, who I finally (personally) nailed at a pinpoint between height and width. I also gave her the shoulders on her jacket that she has in the prophecy cutscene, which makes her figure so much broader.
Lancer and Kris' designs are mostly unchanged, left about the same. The main differences are that I gave Kris the Jevilstail, which will be explained in the story at a point, and I changed the style of Lancer's boots to a more comfortable design.
Aside from Susie's design though, Ralsei was a massive improvement from prior drawings I've made of him (none of which have been released as of yet). I took a look at some other designs people made, and gave it my own spin. Curly fur was a decision I made because it not only made him so much fluffier, but also provided him with a uniqueness to the rest of the Dreemurrs that makes him stand out (something that does have an explanation, but that won't be for a while). The tail was a fun addition once I got the design down, because fluffy tails are cute. I'm glad with how I've pinpointed the hat's design, and I finally found a way to place the scarf over the mouth that doesn't look completely forced.
Like always, any and all feedback is appreciated! As proud as I am of my work, and happy with it as I may be, I understand that I'm not the best judge of my own abilities. I want to improve as an artist, and all critique is a major way to do so!
