Description I have no idea whether or not I'm actually going to keep the Enanders I made for the contest, so I'm going play around with some story ideas, give it about a month and either keep or make them draw-to-adopts. Christ knows all my OCs are stuck in limbo as I have motivation to draw everyone's OC's except my own for some darn reason. If I do keep them, I'll probably make them passive antagonists that anyone can use if they want a source of external conflict for their own OCs.
Enanders are an open species by

Vitiosa, the Lady of Sulfur Fire, was present when Enanders first appeared to humans. Young, inexperienced, and gifted with the miraculous ability to control and neutralize even the deadliest of toxins, she cured human ailments at the behest of the first Enander. And the humans were grateful beyond measure. They lavished her with praise and fine gifts for all the lives she saved and Sulfur was the happiest she had ever been in her life.
Yet over time, the showers of gifts, still of the finest quality the families of her patients' could afford, looked less and less glamorous to her and she had grown numb to the endless adulation. Worse to her still, human medicine had continued advancing on its own and while she was still a miracle worker to mankind, they relied on her less and less. So naturally the praise slowed. Sulfur, long since spoiled rotten, felt it quickly. The idea that she was no longer important though a gross over exaggeration chipped and ate away at her ego. She became nervous, feeling even the slightest absence of attention as a personal attack, after all, people owed her praise and attention for all she had done for them, right? But with people coming to her less and less, she could not earn back humans' total dependence.
Eventually she came to only feel satisfied with the admiration people gave her for emergency resuscitation. These events couldn't come often enough for her. So one day, acting as a midwife to an alcoholic mother, she had an impulse. The child would be born sick and deformed from the mother's habits anyway, so why not push it a bit further? She poisoned the child as it was born. Of course, the humans in attendance could not see that, they only saw Sulfur bring a stillborn back to life before its grieving parents. And thus began a long spree of idiopathic mass poisonings a mere 30 years after the appearance of Enanders. Sulfur was surprised when she could not revive all of the afflicted, yet it did not bother her. People flocked to her in desperation. People were most grateful for the lives she did spare and that was enough for her.
Of course, people are not stupid. The victims appeared too randomly. There was no traceable source of sickness, no contaminated food, water, nor evidence of coughing or blisters, or infestation of any kind. And the victims could only be saved by an Enander. It was a moment of panic for her when the first humans questioned her, she never expected anyone to figure it out, her powers were invisible to humans beyond their end results. She blamed other Enanders and as she was still seen as a savior to humans, they believed her. They set up watchers to scan the skies at all times of day for suspicious activity. Bodies piled up, yet they could not catch a single culprit. Eventually, frustration and sorrow erupted into anger and Sulfur was driven out of civilization with a group of Enanders. And miraculously the poisonings stopped. Those already afflicted still died, but new cases ceased abruptly. Of course, people are not stupid. They made the logical connection immediately. Sulfur hid herself away when the Enander hunts began and ultimately she lost nothing except what the humans had given her.
When peace was restored between Enanders and humans, she knew she could not return to medicine. Though the generations that suffered under her had passed, they left legends warning against her.
Sulfur yearned for the old, grand palaces and the luxuries she had grown accustomed to. So she started a buisness. Opiods turned out to be quite lucrative.

Ah, thank you so much!
Well, when you work small you can chew through a lot very quickly, and the default textured brushes in your drawing software are great for adding texture to large areas, but beyond that was there any specific part you wanted to know?
