Okay, after a week or so of going, "Grrr! I'm never going to finish this!!" I finally...well, finished it.I can't wait for the OAV. <3

Seras' arm grows back, but not as an arm -- instead, it grows back as a shadow trendil akin to smoke. It just happened in the manga, and so far there are 8 complete volumes, 7 of which are out in the United States. A 9th is in-the-works. The manga is definitely more expansive and offers the true storyline. If you haven't picked it up, I suggest that you do; it's well worth the read.
