When I found out historians lied about a mythological god's orientation my eyes nearly went out of my head.
If they don't exist then why change that?
I could understand changing Zues into a lovable character in a Disney movie.
I read the studies, and it was more of a lecture with a few understandable arguments. They aren't without holes (like any other arguement), but I wouldn't call them studies, no more then we could call a movie review a "study". [it is a study but a subjective one instead of solid facts]

Fear is understandable because in the past being scared of something different often meant we weren't eaten nearly as often, but now people have to learn to get past this fear in order to live better.
It's no use being scared of someone all the time...it would make you stressed XD

There are people who are scared of people in wheelchairs. I can never understand it because I tend to picture them as people who are sitting down all the time (I grew up near a guy who was in a wheelchair, sometimes I forget he has no feeling in his legs, and this ends up in me saying the weirdest things to him)
Me: "What happened?"
Him: "Oh, I just burned my leg"
Me: "Ouch, that would have hurt..."

Nothing really matters - so why argue? No matter how much scientific proof you try to find on whether it's a choice or not- all it comes down to is whether living that life satisfies you or not.
