Turns out that Dreamworks movie about the yeti has a whole series on Hulu and Peacock! To summarize, Yi and her friends find out that magical creatures can be found all over their city, so it's up to them to help out every critter they find.

In this particular episode, the gang is chasing after a nine-tailed fox (a Chinese huli jing, not to be confused with kitsune or gumiho). This elusive creature sways its tails to mesmerize folks into giving away something they cherish. When Yi manages to corner the greedy fox, she nearly resists its charms... though a change of tactics allows the trickster to make a new friend.

I find it mildly amusing that the fox could have used its hypnosis to get free boba for itself and Yi, though I suppose it enjoys when others treat it to gifts...
