Description Request for

Since my abilities with cats in general is on par with crap, I decided to have a little fun and experiment with this animation. Other then the fade out, none of the frames are duplicated so it keeps a very loose and sketchy appearance all the way through. I also slowed the frame rate a little more, adding to the jittery uncertainty of this transformation.

Here's a tip since I've been studying animation for a while. The key to fluent animation is contrast between each frame so to get a good feeling of moving a certain direction from a stop (in this example falling foward) try making the character lean slightly back-up (in the opposite direction) for one frame before falling forward-down.

This principle can also be done on when she first hits the ground, she'd bend her forearms from the velocity and weight downward before lifting herself upright.

I hope you understand my meaning... I'm not the best linguist

Thanks, that makes sense.  I'll try incorporating that tip. Learning this on my own is a slow process, I'll soak up all the good advice and wisdom I can find.

This is pretty nifty. You got a lot of the transitions down very well. What program did you use for this?

Thanks. ^.^

I draw the frames in Corel Painter, and save the .gif with PS Elements
