Description
So here is the Death Star sans minifigs in its complete form. This is going to be the template for the Death Egg. The idea is to clear out all the rooms of Star Wars paraphenalia and replace them with memorable locations from Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles. I started work tonight on my very first idea: converting the central elevator shaft into the Red Eye mid-boss from Sonic & Knuckles.Other concepts I want to incorporate are as follows:
*Wing Fortress escape shuttle and hangar from Sonic 2 (Wing Fortress Zone)
*Miniature scale Egg Bomber escape ship from Sonic & Knuckles (The Doomsday Zone)
*Miniature scale Death Egg, Mecha Sonic, Death Ball and Kyodai Eggman Robo bosses and applicable boss arenas
*Complete face panel with eyes, nose and mustache

It is like those cross sections Star Wars books, only this time, you are doing what Sega has been refusing to do for years, and that is a breakdown of the Death Egg of Robotnik.

Thanks for the kind words. That's a very old photograph. The Death Star/Death Egg has since been dismantled and I don't have any plans to work on this particular project in the future. I mean, at some point I might do a Death Egg, but this particular project (modifying the official LEGO Death Star) is not going to happen.

Eh, why re-invent the wheel? The Death Egg is literally a rip off a Death Star, so it's fitting that a LEGO Death Egg is simply a modified LEGO Death Star as well. Besides, when I'm finished the only similarities will be the frame and the superlaser. It's far from complete.
