"Kia, are you sure you want to do this? I mean, it doesn't look too safe..."

Jenna shuddered slightly as she looked down at the glistening, shifting surface of the bubbling tar, it's reflective surface almost enticing to the eye. She wasn't fully on board with Kia's original plan of exploring with Lina, following up on some rumors and news of people finding quicksand near where they live, but none of them expected to find this...

"Ehe, it will be fine~ Besides, I heard this stuff isn't that dangerous, I am totally sure that Kia could get herself out!"

Holding back a stymied giggle, Lina urges her purple-haired friend on, wondering if she could actually convince Kia to get into the sludge. Knowing full well she could coax her into it, she even gently pressed against the other's back, pushing her closer to the moor.

"Like, it would be fun, I bet you could even walk across it, well, maybe not you, but..."

As those words pass Lina's grin, Kia pushes out her chest, letting out a triumphant huff...

"Ahaha~ Are you sure about that Lina? Fine then, prepare to eat your own words~"

Taking no precautions, She begins to walk out onto the uneven glistening surface of the sticky trap, her first few steps into the shifting ooze barely supporting her weight, the sticky grasp of the tar desperately trying to capture her in it's warm embrace...

"S-See nothing to worry about, just a walk in the pa--E-Errghh?!?"

Kia's gloating was quickly cut out by the eruption of bubbles as the moor of the glue-like slop swallows her leg. The sudden shift in height forced the poor girl to stumble deeper into the grasping trap, Kia instinctively pulled at her leg, trying to free it from the sludge, but to her dismay, her legs would not budge. The Pinkette, enjoying the view, felt herself subconsciously walking towards the glistening pit too...

"Ahaha~ Wow Kia, you make that pit look so much fun, mind it I join you~?"

Skipping over to the edge with a whistle, she readies herself as she looked for a spot that interested her. Finding it after a moment, against the protests of the other two, Jenna vaulted herself over the edge, letting out a jovial squeal as she plunges into the gooey embrace of the tar...

"Oh wow, this is a lot nicer than I expected...What do you think Sis? ....Kia?"

Shifting her weight in the rolling waves of the tar, enjoying the sensation of the warm substance massaging and rubbing past her legs...Although she did find it concerning how sticky it was. Taking a look over at her friend, her once cheery attitude rapidly dampens, she watches as Kia tugged at her hands, firmly caught in the tar's iron grasp. Attempting to gain some leverage, she foolishly pushed her hands against the hungry adhesive, instantly trapping her.

"K-Kia, Jenna! Oh god, oh no that wasn't planned!! Just hold on, I will help!"

Springing into action, Lina swiftly shuffled towards the brim of the pit, worried about getting stuck herself. Looking down at the gurgling black substance, it undulates and wobbles in response to it's victims struggles, both desperately fighting to extract themselves...

"N--Nhhnn!! G-God it's so sticky... Lina, please be careful! This stuff is...like glue!"

As panic starts to set in, Lina grasps at straws as she thinks of a way to help. Crouching down, she probes the surface, remembering that the pit held Kia's weight at first, before giving away. Pushing down ever so slightly onto the reflective slop with a foot and a hand, it was clear that it wasn't going to work.

"Hmm, so much for that idea, let me thi....H--Huuh??"

A cold sweat ran down Lina's back as she tugged on her leg. She pulled and pulled, but the only response she got was a loud elastic twang, long, black tendrils of the clingy sludge grasped at her legs, drawing her deeper...

"N-No, Noo!!"

Instinctively kicking her leg, she plunged her free foot directly into the heavy clutches of the pit...her only saving grace was that she had a somewhat firm grip on the bank of solid ground that surrounded them...

"A-Aah...Nooo...W-We are in real trouble now!"
