2009pastels
This one is my first drawing with pastel pencils. It shows the beautiful gelding Zbaraz, an Arabian Horse of a friend of mine (She got this drawing as a gift...). Zbaraz ran 120 km at an endurance tournament the day before I took the photo I used as reference. And yes... I totally suck at drawing backgrounds.

Yeah, you're right. But I didn't want to draw some gras or trees or something. That would have been to ordinal for a horse like this, I think. And... Like I've wrote before: I totally suck at drawing backgrounds.
