I am so sorry for the feels Q^Q ... this is the scene depicted when Anocari tells Donny that she has to leave him..and she doesn't know when she'll see him again. At this point, they have known each other for roughly a month since he saved her, and they've fallen madly in love with each other, but because of the fact Anocari must stay on the move to keep out of the views of her father, she has to leave him... ;-;Related content

Anyways, she paired her OC with Leo and it comes down to the point where Liz has to choose to be with her mother (retrogen) and lose her memories and Leo, or be with Leo and the turtles but potentially losing her mother. She knew it was too soon for her to make any relationships because of the search her father put out for her. There were several of his men searching the nearby galaxies for her, and she knew if her father were to find her there with people she had come to love he would kill them for sure. She's not allowed to "feel" in order to stay at her peak strength as an assassin for her father so he would literally do anything to make her lose all hope and give in to his mind control again.

You really made the feeling of sadness come across in this piece. The lack of color, with only the contrasting neutrals makes it stark. The traditional style of the tree helps convey that also.
I feel you did a much better job on her than you did on him. It feels to me that you had her emotion more clearly envisioned. The way you drew her hands over her face is beautiful.

Also to answer your comment about having Anocari's emotion more clearly envisioned, I've been developing her character for about 7 years now. I do everything I can to express who she is and what she's feeling in all of my pictures because she's a very important character to me c:Β

Well..I've only written bits and pieces, but a lot of people have been asking me for this story.. I think I may be able to write something within the next few days. I'm really glad you like my art so much (: it really gives me a lot of confidence in my drawing abilities and also in my writing. I get lots of comments on how people really like the back story i put behind most of my pieces and it makes me smile to read amazing comments like this one <3 (((: So, I'll write something and let you know when I'm done. Wow you are making me blush! π thank you so much! And also I do work on amd also off of the computer. I draw with graphite, ink, charcoal, and I even paint. I sometimes work with ceramics as well. C: I dont think there will ever be a time that im not trying a new technique or trying to strengthen my own style. ^u^
