Description This is one of the heroes I painted for the upcoming mach 3 game Heroes and Dragons. The character was originally designed for Dawn of the Dragons by Aaron Doyle, and my art director, Jeff Yoon.

Thanks, May! I've got some quick tricks for painting fire, so I've become the go-to-guy for fire based character/creatures here at 5th Planet games.

Thanks Paul! It started out kind of rough, as I've been doing a lot of scraggly textured monsters lately, and had to do things a bit slowerΒ than usual.Β

Ha, it didn't start that way. It was pretty rough initially as I've come off a stint of dragons and monsters. The difference on this one is time. The boss put in a special request to have me redoo this one, as he wasn't happy with what the outsource artist had produced. Which was a little scary, because I thought the out source piece was beautiful. But anyway, unlike most pieces I had several days to work on this one. And it was on a character that already had a general design, so I didn't lose any time trying to figure out a costume. Also, I just integrated a new gangsta brush into my hot-keys that's pretty snazzy. I'll send it to you tomorrow.
