Description
Madelief (Latin: Bellis Perennis, English Daisy) is the name of the flower, but also the name of the little baby girl of an old friend of mine. I haven't seen her in years and I have no idea how she ended up.Anyway.
Was playing with my dog in the park this afternoon. It was way too hot and I wanted him to cool off in the water. He swam for about 10 minutes when I found this little flower. I just had to pick it, so I did.

This is really beautiful - I love the fact that even though I can't see the edges of the flower, I still know what it is and the faint outline indicates the delicate--ness of it. Lovely

As always, I love your macro shots - this is very cool! Unlike some others, I like the way the petals fade out at the top - the only thing I would suggest is to make it more gradual (that is, blend out the abrupt stop at the top edge of the petals - I know it's barely perceptible, but it still bugs me a little).
I like how the white seems to accentuate the yellow of the center of the flower.
