Popularity doesn't mean a thing if people don't respect you!

it depends. you'd want to be well liked for your art and personality. but not you know. a fake self. people liking you for you. and maybe your art. would be nice.

If being famous means being a maniacal asshole with an overinflated ego, I'd rather be nobody.

Fuck resumes. Art for its own sake is worthwhile too. And fame for its own sake is something that some people just enjoy. Some people just love the attention. Not everyone thinks that everything in life has to be practical, useful, or efficient.

I dunno lol, maybe it's because then more people know of your work and therefore your art is more valuable to the masses. Then more people want to buy your commissions and art and things like that. Also, more watchers = more comments etc = more feedback.
Your art can be amazing, but the sad truth is that if you only have a few watchers and no one knows who you are, no one will buy your work or leave you comments. *story of my life*
I don't care about pageviews, but I think most people can agree that having a lot of people follow your work and recognize it and want it would be nice. It would make it feel like all the hard work is worth the time.

Well true. This stamp is mroe geared toward people that try too hard to be popular. If you remember !Vampirella87 she did nothing but fanart tracers and sold nothing, revelling in the popularity.

Oh puhleeeeaaaase, I can just modify the pageview count through Chrome and put it at "1,000,000". There I saved my self time by not trying to be popular. lol

Always. It's part of good health. Doctor recommends 10 pageviews a day.
