The little birdies are now old enough to fly on their own!

..or, are they?

This will also be included in my calendar!

As a side note: I must find a way to paint foliage more efficiently, because leaf-by-leaf is reaally slow and it was a test of patience to do only leafs and leafs the whole day. But I'm glad it's finished! Woohoo!

I always draw foliage leaf by leaf. I am terrified of copy / paste techniques. And I have this weird obsession that if there are two identical leaves, the viewer will notice them, and only them Seriously now, the human brain is wired to detect patterns and focus on them. It is survival related. So I dislike all Photoshop made drawings were you can clearly see that a certain leaf (or flower / stone) brush has been used or that the "painter" has simply copy / pasted an element and changed its size / color / orientation.

I like your drawings because they don't scream "Photoshop" like most of the drawings we see on the web these days. We don't know if they are traditional and only digital enhanced, or if they are completely digital.

Aww thank you! I'm glad you feel like that about my drawings! They don't scream "Photoshop" because I really dislike that too. Given that I studied traditional painting.. I do my best to make the illustrations look as traditional as possible, even if they're done 100% digitally
