I was standing at a bus stop in Dundee when I heard that John Lennon had been murdered. I couldn't believe it. I stood at that bus stop for a long time. I was a student nurse at the time and was on my way to work in Ninewells Hospital. I was late.Related content

I was not quite 10, when it happened. I knew who the Beatles were, and I knew their music, but I wasn't exactly a fan yet. It was probably the first time someone I had heard of died, it was definitely the first time someone I had heard was murdered. I remember it effecting me for that reason. My best friend's brother at the time was a huge fan, I remembering him staying home from school. My friend told me he cried for a long time. I love this. All the cool textures and the way you executed this. Very trippy and cool.

Yeah, it's cool. I guess John is my favorite of the 4. I like The Beatles but I am not as fanatical about them as some. I appreciate them for what they did though.
