He was such a great character. If nothing else, bionicle left me with a lifelong set of unrealistic expectations for villains.

i would've liked to see him, surviving... and then possibly having his first emotionally loaded argument with Gali about leaving his friends behind to die. i mean, he did care enough to warn them, intending to save their lives.
or him, accusing Gali of just keeping him as some sort of living Trophy.
i like the idea of him being a good guy, fighting along the Toa Nuva, but i would also like to see all the tension between him and the Toa that would come before or during his full change of heart.
and i would wonder what would happen if he would meet Light-Teridax.

Yeah, he was the most interesting character to come out of 2008. I wouldβve liked to see more interaction between him and the toa as well. Or him and miserex, miserex would have been an interesting contrast since he was so consumed with revenge he was willing to destroy the universe, while Krika opposed the plan for all the death and destruction it would cause.

i think Greg (or the writer who was responsible) ruined Miserix' character for me.
he used to be interesting as the former leader of the brotherhood... until he was flanderized with his hunger for revenge.

He didnβt really get utilized much either way. The only thing Greg did that really annoyed me was all the ridiculously convoluted ways Tuyet kept coming back to life. She was a neat way to characterize Lhikan, but there was no need to keep bringing her back. Though her role in the toa empire was fun.

i think the Story team was a bit too much obsessed with the idea of "Toa need to stand in a good light!" and i bet they had plans for her like some subpar redemption-arc.
the way how Toa were treated in the story actually made them one of my least favorite species.
because it just feels like, the story forces them into every hero-role. at least to me.
that's why most of my Good-Guy MOCs aren't Toa. i'm just tired of seeing Good Toa and evil non-Toa, over and over again.
That's why i consider the Kingdom AU and the Toa-Empire as interesting, because they broke the character-pattern Bionicle had created.

Haha, thatβs why almost all my Mocs are bad guys. The mahri were pretty good characters, but for the most part the toa were the most boring characters. It would of been nice to see more of a spectrum. But in all fairness, bionicle had an absurd amount of characters.
