I made it before I reached 3 months-long delay again, hurray!
Anyway, there's just one more part for this gym fight left. It got... much longer than what I inicially anticipated, haha...
Trivia:
- Iris is well-known around Gym Leaders for flying around the Unova on her Grandfather Pokemon without a license (which is illegal, but hush)
I don't know what are her parents thinking about it.
- In this run I don't plan on keeping the "4 moves' rule for the sake of the draaaama. I will also stretch it's use here and now~
- But the fact stands that both Pokemon and Trainers should first reach the certain level that's reaquired for using some moves. Sometimes Trainers can force some moves on their Mon when they aren't quite ready. It put a lot of strain on the body of a Mon and can be quite dangerous for both of the pair
- Audience in Gyms is protected by special magical barriers in case of the "friendly" fire.
- Leaves from moves like Razor Leaves ect. can be further used as a weapon~

And i love how this is all unfolding. I also love how it seems as though lil miss Lenora over here doesn't have all too good intentions. I need to reread to this point, but methinks that Lenora is apart of plasma? Or some higher force that is wanting to use the mythical beasts of Unova for their own benefit.

The dynamics you give to the fights is wonderfully intense, it looks alive!

Thank you so much! I really like battles (*coughcough*in stories, of course, in stories) so I'm trying to make them as interesting as I can without going to the level of throwing galaxies on each other (which is kinda tempting... but no. for nooooow)
Usually it's rather hard to do, but since Burgh's weapon just overflows with it, Khail is a strange fellow with, seemingly, no preservation instincs and he tends to do things in a way most people wouldn't really think of, so it came out like that. Poor Burgh needs to check out his own rules next time.

I dropped everything the moment I saw the update and had to tell my friends that I have a date with The Untold.
and what can I say?
I was not dissappointed in the least.
The fighting Dynamic is amazing looking. If this would be an Anime, I'd watch the shit out of it, not gonna lie!
When you draw Scenes like that it feels like they come alive, which is amazing.
Also Khail's Dragon Eyes in the last panel are just amazing!!!

I could imagine Iris parents to be the "it's okay daughter so long as you have a fun time and if anyone tries to kidnap you, Tell me there names and their family shall suffer a unholy amount pain and suffering from which not even Arceus will forgive.
What took me a while to realize in game is that every move that comes after the first is always a "upgraded" version like water gun to Hydro pump, ember to flamethrower and razor leaf to leaf storm. So it could also be a simpler way for more experienced trainers to use weaker less mana consuming moves instead of using the big I will kill you move. I just read way too many battle mangas.

Yup, that's basically what they are, and that exactly what I thought when coming up with that. I wanted it to work more like a "normal" magic system in most of the games/stories ect.
