Description "...a fool's devotion
swallowed up in empty space
the tears of regret
frozen to the side of his face

the smell of sunshine
i remember sometimes

i've done all i can do
could i please come with you?
sweet smell of sunshine
i remember sometimes..."

listening to NIN

great angle, nice perspective and lights are beautifull (did you manage them or was it just so when you shoted?)
like the atmosphere that comes out from tha t shot a lot i find the lights and the teard down paper on the wall in the second piece brings a lot to the shot

I like the repetition, and the emptiness of the room. Cool place for a picture, and you picked the right time of day; nice lighting. +fav.

This is the hammer's trace. The hammer's pace. Powerful, northwise, misleading, old fashioned, dated, forgotten in a witty manner. The enormous possibilities your photograph hands out and leaves me with proves once again its strength and your tallent.
Good, good work. I'm on my way in.

at first glance
the clarity,the obviousness
the vacume
drawing you in...until..
until the simplicity
devours your trust
till the frame before you,
becomes a doorway into distortion
distorted time,
distorted space
a cruel 'esheresque' dimension
an illusion

and like the retorical question that you turn over and over in your mind..
you realise there will be no exit
not for a very long time

and it is your images that inspire my coments
I just let the thoughts tumble out
as they come

theres this deft 'raw-ness' and beauty to your work
that makes me not afraid
to tell you

This picture seems somewhat positive if you ask me. The way out, an escape, from the rubbish and torn walls. I really like this one!

I love this because: the title suits the photo well because so many times in our life the way out is not simply through one door. But rather, it is a process by which we must exit through many doors and pass through many stages or "rooms" on the way to each exit. Each room has a different light. Each room has a different decor and mood. But each room must be encountered and dealt with before we can reach the next exit to get to the next stage or room in our life. Excellent piece with a very deep meaning. I only wish the piece were larger in size. but that is my ONLY complaint.

All these doors are now open, but once they were all closed and it looks like a struggle as ensued within the confines of the house/soul.

A concept which has been used many times before, but one that is definitely still very true. You have put your glorious trademark atmospheric touches on this piece, and it is great that you found this house with the rooms in alignment with every second door opening in the opposite direction. It makes for a very effective photo.

Amazing image not really for the technical merit that you deserve but for the fealing it gives very good work as critice I think it would be interesting to dramatize a bit more the light effect by darkening the image, in a way I would let the dark devour a bit more the detail to bring up the strength and softness of that light... Plus this is another beautyfull room with the most magnificient floor and walls the white door give the serial drama to the photo very good work.
