Thanks! And, hey I have to ask since it relates to a conversation I had today. What did you mean "Sorta what you do"? Are you referring to the consistency in quality or me doing the same thing all the time?

ooh, hope I didn't hit on an insecurity there, From me it's coming mostly from a place of awe because you compose and create landscapes seemingly without much trouble, which is something I struggle with, so I look at you as something like a peer who certainly has a particular skill and craft that I look up to and try to learn from. It's far more to do with the fundamental understanding of landscape painting, which I hope to get to as well, than 'Anthony Avon is the landscape guy who just does that'

Well who isn't insecure about their art if they care about it...
But no, it's just that before that I was criticizing a well known artist who constantly doing the same thing over and over again, and since I actively try to avoid doing that, I need to know how it's perceived by my followers. It would suck if I was blind to my own mistakes.
Landscapes can be a comfort zone, once you figure out what works for you, so I made it my business to always go for a new look on similar themes, to never paint the same forest or mountain twice...

an excellent attitude to have, so long as you don't beat yourself up too much, you have enough respect for yourself that you're striving to do better and respect your work to give it the finish it deserves for excellence. Personally I've been attempting to refigure what I've been doing with full composition and revisiting value to be practiced in my fundamentals. But I imagine that finding space to grow can be difficult whilst you're pressuring yourself to earn a living etc, and doing jobs tends to go for the easy already known solves to a given situation.
I'd personally love to see what you know about composing landscapes and focus that composition into full pieces, where all the shape language is contributing, as I suspect with work like your 'your character here' jobs can compartmentalize the process of a full composition to clearly seporate elements of characters on top of environments. The work is certainly well done, and your environments kick my ass every time, but as said, just what I'd like to see, even if it was just through speedpaints. Sorry, I'm sure you weren't asking for advise but as said, it's certainly something I'd like to see more of like this piece:
Love how the figures add more to the composition and communicate more out of the environment
