Thank you. He looks like a Goblin, because Bolg is a Goblin. I need to source from the books when working on Tolkiens world. The films are ONLY peter jacksons "version" of the books.

It mentions New Line Cinema in opening sentence. FFG only allows us to use Tolkien Gateway (I think it's called). Bolg is a goblin, but an unusually large one. That much was in the brief I was given.

Well, I'm German and in the German versions of LotR goblins and orcs are not divided, all of them are called Orcs (for example: Moriah Orcs, not goblins). But my link above leads you to the Wikipedia in English and there Bolg and his father Azog are also called Orcs.

I just wish they hadn't used so much cgi with the orcs in the Hobbit films. They don't look as menacing as in LOTR.
