ILM Art Department Challenge 2: The Ride No.1- Lifting the Siege.
G-Wing Fighter Bomber (Starbomber). Β We were asked to design 2 vehicles that would fit within the Star Wars Universe and then Illustrate them into their environment as Keyframe art.

This is a severely sweet fighter, love the row of blaster cannons along the wing, old school is best school sometimes.

If I didn't know better I'd say you used the Gallente catalyst from EVE online as inspiration. Nothing wrong there, this is awesome!

Actually, I just used the letter "G" or "g" and looked at bombers, cockpits from WW2 planes. Β I read about doing this technique from James Clyne working on Ep7. Β I know the ship you're talking about, however, as it's been mentioned before, but I've never played EVE Online. Β I can see the similarities, but then theΒ Gallente catalyst does look like it could fit into the star wars universe.
