Description
Midnight SacrificeClimbing up to the top-most ledge at last he spotted her. There in the pale moonlight Zendari knelt on the sacrificial dais, her limbs chained to the poles by thick bracelets. Above her the slender tentacles of the mad creature were already descending, touching her lovely form with a cold hunger. Her eyes were wide in horror, but no sound came from her slack mouth. Fear choked off any sound she might have made.
Ghundred lunged forward, his sword flashing as he slashed at the menace before him ...
