I'm not really known for scenic work. When asked if I'd like to try something different by the AD at L5R, I thought it would be fun to paint an environment. This was quite a while ago, and I am pretty much back to all portraits now, but there is something nice about a painting where I can't get too caught up in the people. The Samurai Champloo soundtrack was on a lot that week.
