Description
I've seen chaos, the countless amount of lives dashed away on the rocks of war. Fires turning skyscrapers to ashes and metal beasts of imposing size breaking them down to rubble. It's all just the same to me, it's the rules of nature. I've tried so hard to find an alternative and yet, I'm always brought back to the same old scene. One side pitted against the other, manipulating the weak into fueling their own egos and agenda. As for me, I'm stuck in the middle of all of this destruction. The only thing I need to do, is to cut my own path. My story, isn't a happy one, but it sure as hell sends them a message. And while I stand here facing against their greatest war machine, I shall let them know. That my blade, will be their end.
And, cue the bad ass metal music. Yes this drawing was mostly inspired by Metal Gear Rising Revengeance if you couldn't tell with the whole giant metal creation standing over a lone swords man. To tell you the truth it's the only Metal Gear game I've played so that's the only one in the series that I'm most aware of. Honestly hope they make a second game. Anyways, yes today I decided to draw a Mecha Dragon. Well, yesterday technically speaking. I started it then with the mech, the outline, the colors, the shading and texturing and finished it now with the background and the effects.
You know, it's getting incredibly annoying to draw complex drawings. Photoshop just can't seem to handle when I have so many layers and it probably doesn't help that this computer on top of windows ten and whatever unnecessary programs in the background is making it running slower. It's not a consistent thing though, there's moments where the program is running fine but then it start running extremely slow every now and then. I swear, it's two thousand and nineteen and it feels likes we're taking many steps back here. Then again, apparently this version of Photoshop is old, but then again, I've seen people complaining about the newer version being slower, so I don't know. Maybe it's a bit faster, but I feel like there are many other factors that I'm not seeing here making this more tedious than it needs to be.
Anyways, that's pretty much all there is to it. Two drawings this year that took two days to make. And for those on Facebook, despite the fact that you probably don't even read this, the first drawing was a Mature drawing. We are only six drawings away until this limitation period ends. So I'll be able to draw something for every folder again until it reaches it's new limits. Anyways, without further adieu, here's the Mecha Dragon, enjoy.
