Description
This is a special belated birthday drawing for my sister who recently turned twenty-one. It features my mouse character Vanessa Malone (aka V) who is the lead singer of the up and coming band "Rodent Alert!". My sister has a thing for music so I figured it would be appropriate.
I'm glad I finally got to draw Vanessa again. I've really been trying to draw more OCs whom I've been neglecting for a while. This is also the first time I've drawn her in color. I was debating the colors of her outfit for a bit. Originally I was going to give her a yellow shirt and shorts with black gloves and boots, but then I decided I wanted a bit more color, so I opted for pink and blue. I made her earrings, cuffs, and buckle gold because I thought they would evoke a more flashy rock star edge. I also added a longer pair of front teeth to improve species accuracy. I'd say I'm satisfied with how she came out.
