The underwater-breathing-apparatus thing attached over his blowhole is a very creative touch.

Hope that a plasma torch he's using not an arc welder cos you arc weld underwater without a suit you get a nasty dose of EST (electro shock therapy)!

Nice. As far as what the white things could be I think that it's plankton, since those are small animals they'd probably only show up as little dots on a film. Also seems like that fin should be a bit further down his back almost near the center of it.

Looks very nice. I like the tribal looking markings on the dorsal fin. The armor pieces are really nice too. The dotty floaty light effects are great, and I know what you mean about seeing them in underwater films. I think the color is quite good, especially the sharp highlights coming from the sparking soldering tool. The only thing I migt suggest, and I might be dead wrong, is that his tail wouldn't be lit up by the sparks, but since his tail might be to the side and back rather than straight back behind him, it could very well be getting hit by the light too. Just a random observation. Doesn't take anything away from it though. Awesome work as usual.

I think it was done very well, with the exception of the "pants'' (for lack of a better word) being a bit...bulgey. O.o
Other than that, this is a great piece with wonderful details.

Nice, but I personally prefer the previous one for 2 things.
1- Underwater, the light wouldn't be that reflective, especially with the texture the orca's skin has.
2- It look like he's wearing a billiards ball in his trouser.
Nice anatomy neitherless.
