I don't think Yugi gets enough love.Despite most people thinking he's some sort of sweet, cute yet more or less helpless character, Yugi by himself is actuelly really strong and mature. Yeah he acts mostly on what he feels at the moment, but think about it. Atem was kind of out of control before he met Yugi. (He was willing to kill Kaiba!)
As sexy as Atem is, Yugi has his own charm and I adore his character.
He looks helpless in this picture, but the point I was trying to drive across here is, little Yugi has a lot of baggage in his soul.
He has people hunting him down, wanting to kill him for doing what's right. He has a spirit invading his body and he was bullied mercilessly a majority of his life.
I love you Yugi!!!

So much fanart of Yugi being Yami's "little angel" or someone weak, when really, Yugi can be a perverted little devil and can give a glare that would split bricks XD
It really bugs me how people fall too much for his "picture of innocence" personality when really, it was built to contrast Yami.

I love it. I've been saying that for a while everyone is so head over heels with Yami which I love him myself but when it comes to looking up yugi you usually end up getting Yami's pic and very few actual yugi Motou pics kinda sad.
And I love him he's the cutest male anime character I've seen

Aww, very cute!! I love Yugi!! He has this innocent charm that I love about him! He's a tough guy for all that he's been though. Just look at the first eppie or so of Series 0. Talk about bullies.

Aww,w Yugi looks so cute here... But I agree, the poor guy does no get enough appreciation! He's been bullied for who knows how long, has to cope with magic and monsters and the shadow realm, and he has to put up with being hunted just because he happened to like solving puzzles
I will say though, his mother actually lives with him, and his father is away on business, according to Kazuki XD Know nothing more of him though

I didn't know that about his parents. I've seen his mom in the manga but no dad, but I've never seen either in the anime so my mind instantly jumped to: "Oh poor Yugi! He's an orphan?!"
