Description T-shirt design to be silk screened. (The black and white version, that is. I added the color digitally to hide the random noise from taking a picture of this picture lolol).

Ball point pen ... I have new-found respect for traditional artists .__.

Random octopus (x

Panda, do you somehow have a tutorial on how you digitally added the color to this piece?

get me this shirt when you do make it. And also, the next time you come home, please fix my hair T_T one side curves and the other stays straight O_o It's definitely the cutting problema, So fix pls.

Did you use you normal papermate pen? too perfect lines Can't do anything with normal pen, and also no patience to create something that awesome. I need to work on my 52 week thing too. I'm lagging behind in submitting because of Lewis and Clark butts.

FEAR NOT. I SHALL FIX YO HAIRS.

Oh man Lewis and Clark! Good times.

The original is on a huge sheet of paper -- I don't have a ruler but it looks like 16'x14' ;-; My art instructor thought it was a good idea xD I sketched it in pencil then inked it with a ballpoint pen. It isn't papermate, but it's ballpoint. The lines look pretty because I spent 6+ hours on it (x

Ahhh I can easily get the lines on a shirt, but the tye dying will be tricky. xD

tye-dye kit? 030 get a white v or boat-neck and tye dye in blue and red pastels after the silkscreen, that would be such an amazing shirt!

Wow, Panda D: I don't know what to say other than wow. I've said before that you're good at patterny things but this is just amazing. It looks like some of the patterns on tops I have. Nay, it looks better than them. Everything is so flowing and gorgeous and how do you do things like thiiis ;A;γ€€It's beautiful and there's so much to look at. I swear I see a leetle octopus in there xD And I'm intrigued by the mushrooms lined up with a... knife?

Is there some kind of particular meaning to this image?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

antichange In reply to Hikarino [2011-01-26 02:07:18 +0000 UTC]

<33 Thanks so much, Hika C: Your comments always make me feel special ahaha. The flowliness took a great number of hours of sketching and staring at other peoples' flowy doodles o: Turns out, if you doodle enough, it becomes more natural. xD

That IS an octopus 8D It wasn't intentional, actually ... I noticed some of the swirls looked like an octopus, so it became one. It's my favorite part of this piece (x I love it when random cool surprising things happen when I draw \o/ There isn't a meaning to anything, really ... I wanted to make a shirt with swirls, and I've been doodling a lot of trees recently. Actually, the knife is probably the only thing there on purpose. My friend likes to flick knives. It's been on my mind lately (x
