It looks great, but I think we should try and forget the show ever existed. If you want a model for Richard try Eric Bana.

Lovely. The lighting is great, and I really like the view you take on D'hara, Richard and the entirety of the scene.

Yes, yes it is... I might actually be forced buy a gaming console to play it on if such a thing existed. We have a Wii, a PlayStation 2, two Nintendo DS Lites, and various other things which I can't name...
...none of which are mine, as I can't be bothered with the things.
Anyway. Back on topic (I have a habit of going off-topic, it seems)... I have never been so afraid of a once loveable character in my life. He looks so... well, fearsome. (Awesome use of adjectives, I know.) And in a hoodie? I am - by default, it seems - terrified of those guys who walk around with their hoodies up (and, usually, a flat-billed cap on underneath) purely because of their fashion sense. Their lack of style intelligence is very, very disturbing.
I wonder if Richard would mind very much if I ran away from him screaming if he (by some freak of nature) happened to walk out of the book or the TV screen and was dressed like this?? As far as I know, he's more used to people running towards him screaming 'ILOVEYOURICHAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!!!!!!!' like they've got rabies...

(The grammar thing? I think it should be 'is' as the books haven't ended yet. Richard is more fearsome than Kahlan, who I am actually not afraid of at all. She's not scary. )
They're probably not so afraid of him 'cause he's something new to them - the Confessors have always been feared, but since he's decided to be a 'nice' Lord Rahl they're not so scared... just... respectful? I don't know.
Oh. And there's also the fact that he doesn't really enjoy killing people. I think people can pick that up quite easily just by assessing his character a little further than 'ZOMG IT'S LORD RAHL!!! RUN!!! HIDE!!! HE'S GONNA KILL US ALL!!!'... as he keeps saying, he's just a misplaced woods guide from Westland, and as he doesn't know much about magic, he is therefore not quite so scary as the rest of the Rahls the people have known.
He is still more fearsome than Kahlan, however. Never mind that he doesn't really act it. If we're talking scary, it's not fair to compare a guy to a girl... of course the guy will prevail, it's just the sexist thing that's programmed into humans.
But anyway. Kahlan's got nothing on the Mord-Sith. Now they are frightening. I wouldn't like to see what'd happen if they all suddenly decided to turn against a Rahl. After all - they could capture his magic and turn it against him, and there are a lot more of them compared to the one Rahl... and if the Mord-Sith don't like the Lord Rahl, chances are nobody does... not that anyone would be stupid enough to even attempt to stop a mob of angry Mord-Sith.
there i go again. i really need to learn to stay on topic, don't i...?
Actually, even though I'm a girl, I quite like hoodies too. All I'm saying is that some people just don't know how to wear them, and the first thing (aside from 'RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!') that came to my mind was 'Hmm... what would he look like with a flat-billed- OMG WTF BBQ, GANGSTER RICHARD EQUALS NO.' or something along those lines. Don't worry about me... I'm just... strange.
