I know I can something .. glamorise a game I like, but I fell completely in love with BAYONETTA <333

its not about making them look ditto to real likeness- its about incorporating your OWN style into your drawings. I do this often- make the characters to the point where they can be recognizable, and then tweak them a bit in my own style. Its not only natural, but proper- as it allows you and others to identify your uniqueness.
That said, i think it DOES look like Dante, and it DOES look like Bayonetta. And the idea here is gorgeous and relates very well to the concept. Your linework is great, and the title of the piece really fits nicely (a point that i believe has great value).
As for a few cons- you need to work on your proportions. The outstretched arms on both characters look too small in comparison to their other arms. And you also need to work on your colors, they look a bit flat (i've seen your more recent work, and i believe you've taken care of that part. I'm just pointing it out for this piece).
Overall i'd say this piece is wonderful. Both characters have been defined properly with their coy and sly looks, and there is a sense of balance in the picture that merges well with the uniqueness of your style. Great job!

I think Dante looks perfect, although Bayonetta could use a bit of work but that's merely my opinion, so I could be wrong and if I am please let me know. Regardless, it is a very good picture, well done.

Omgosh tehy both look so awesome. I love how they're mirror each other's pose. The rose in Dante's mouth is a nice touch. I also like how Bayo has a lollipop (I'm assuming?) in hers.
